There’s still time to register for the AusIMM Mine Waste and Tailings Conference and its workshops, to be held in Brisbane and online at the end of this month.

Workshops will be held on 30^th June, the conference proper starts on 1^st July.

Allan McConnell, founder of IGS, is on the Organising Committee for the event and the committee is proud of the program they’re putting forward, addressing current and future challenges.

As well as being on the Organising Committee Allan is running one of the half day pre-conference workshops, on 30^th June, the day before the conference commences.

The workshop topic is: In Situ Testing and Sampling to Characterise Tailings.

Allan will be heavily assisted in this workshop by Jo-Anne (Jo) Perrett from EDG Consulting.

We think this will be a worthwhile workshop and hope to see you there.

Also, Mark Chapman, IGS’s Managing Director, will be chairing session 3A Mine Waste Characterisation on Thursday 1^st July.
