IGS’ CPT rig Lizzy has been hard at work in the Blue Mountains over the last couple of weeks profiling the ash dams at Wallerawang Powerstation with Golder. The project has been very interesting involving combinations of CPT, Seismic CPT, Soil Moisture profiling and sampling.

It’s the first time that Lizzy has seen snow and a couple of “temporary jackets” were required to help keep the operators (and client) toastie while they worked.

No matter how hard you are working there is always time for a little fun when it snows though!
